
The Glimpse of Everest Trek, although relatively easy compared to some of other treks, takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery (3850m). This is a short trek but very scenic trek offers really superb view of the world's highest peaks, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam and other many snowy peaks. We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip in the Khumbu region and trek up to Namche Bazzar, Tyangboche (famous for its monastery) and into the Khumjung village, a very nice settlement of Sherpas people. This trek is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture with great mountain views, a very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal. This trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer treks into the high mountains.

Khumbu is one of the well acknowledged in the world as a form land of the World's tallest Mount Everest and the native place of Sherpa people; which is situated in the map of Nepal to the northeast. Many trekkers go by roads trails via Solu and some fly in to the village Lukla to start trekking. A few days trek from Lukla on the highland, takes you to the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park and the town of Namche Bazaar- the entrance of Everest Trek. You can go further from here either to Gokyo Lake or to the Everest Base Camp. Physically, this trek is hard because of the high altitude walking duration. Is the shorter of the two treks, being a 3 week round trip from the Himalayan king dom of Nepal It takes a wonderful route to Everest, via Gokyo Lakes and the viewing point of Gokyo Ri, which arguably provides a better view of Everest than the more popular Kala Pattar.
