Everest Trekking Region

The Glimpse of Everest Trek, although relatively easy compared to some of other treks, takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery (3850m). This is a short trek but very scenic trek offers really superb view of the world's highest peaks, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam and other many snowy peaks. We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip in the Khumbu region and trek up to Namche Bazzar, Tyangboche (famous for its monastery) and into the Khumjung village, a very nice settlement of Sherpas people. This trek is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture with great mountain views, a very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal. This trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer treks into the high mountains.

Khumbu is one of the well acknowledged in the world as a form land of the World's tallest Mount Everest and the native place of Sherpa people; which is situated in the map of Nepal to the northeast. Many trekkers go by roads trails via Solu and some fly in to the village Lukla to start trekking. A few days trek from Lukla on the highland, takes you to the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park and the town of Namche Bazaar- the entrance of Everest Trek. You can go further from here either to Gokyo Lake or to the Everest Base Camp. Physically, this trek is hard because of the high altitude walking duration. This is dwelling place of the entire mountaineering group. The area is likewise beautiful not only Mt. Everest is there; many other most attractive mountains are there such as Amadoblam, Cho Yu. As well as there are many trekking peaks such as Mera Peak, Island Peak and many tricky and exiting mountains passes such as Cho La Pass, Tashi Lapcha Pass, Amphu Lapcha pass, Mera La, etc. The villages are very beautiful with sociable sherpa dweller. Everest Base camp Trekking:

Is the shorter of the two treks, being a 3 week round trip from the Himalayan king dom of Nepal It takes a wonderful route to Everest, via Gokyo Lakes and the viewing point of Gokyo Ri, which arguably provides a better view of Everest than the more popular Kala Pattar. The route then crosses a high pass, the Cho La , on its way to the Khumbu Valley and Everest Base Camp.

Gokyo Trekking:

Our goals are first the lakes of Gokyo, then in the Khumbu Valley we head to the South Base Camp of Everest. Crossing the spectacular Cho La (5420m 17,782ft) into the Khumbu is an adventure in itself. We then retreat to the hilltop viewpoint of Kala Patthar for the best of Everest. We will take a closer look at the spectacular Khumbu icefall (the climbing route to the South Col) the route taken on the first ascent in 1953. This circuit provides a wide experience of the Khumbu and in addition the now less frequented areas below Lukla airport, and offers an excellent challenge to the ambitious trekker. 26 days in total (3 nights Kathmandu) for the fit and experienced walker.

Trekking in Everest region, Jiri Everest Base Camp is breathtaking and requires a good walking experience and a good physical health condition. This trek is very interesting walking with its panoramic view of Everest 8848m, Cho Oyu 8201m, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8463m and Ama Dablam 6456m. through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Buddhist Monastery, Khunde Khumjung etc. Settlement of mixed ethnic group Brahman, Chhetri, Magar, Tamang in the low land and Sherpa in highland of Solukhumbu Everest region. Jiri to Everest base camp trek cover low land from Jiri to highland Kalapathar 5648m.
