Fulkharka village is situated north west of Kathmandu valley. The village lies on the flank of 3500m mountain at the base of ganesh Himal and next to Manaslu. As the village lies on the border of two ethnic territories, they have a mixed practice of Hindu and Buddhist communities. Fulkharka means Flower Garden. Panorama mountain views of the famous Ganesh Himal and Ganga Jamuna Trek Dhading also boasts pretty attractions such as Bridaing Kunda and Ganesh Kunda lakes and waterfall at Ganga Jamuna. Hindus predominate in the lower regions whereas in the higher areas there live a great variety of ethnic groups, primarily Tibetan Buddhist. The village of Fulkharka lies in Dhading District, Nepal. It is approximately 120 kilometers north west of Kathmandu, lying at 1,600 meters; it is en route of Manaslu trek and Ganesh himal trek. Main languages spoken are Nepali, Newari and Tamang, Gurung with sizeable groups of Magar, Gurung, Tamang, Newari speak. All village tours are provided in a tailor made itinerary to suit any personal or group requirements. Villagers of Fulkharka still rely on agriculture as their main livelihood, so they are mainly subsistence farmers growing crops such as corn, potatoes, rice and millet. Provenance has become a growing concern in this area. Food shortage is prevalent in the northern part of the district. In addition a lot of youths have been displaced by the past conflict in the country.
Day 01: Kathmandu to Fulkharka (1720m.) by local bus 10, Private Landcruiser 6 hrs drive
Day 02: Rest day long drive from beginning Kathmandu to Fulkharka (This is my home town where I am from) sightseeing around local village.
Day 03: Visit the village of Fulkharka, School, Helthpost where people can have small treatment if they are get sick but if people deeply injuries then they most be in Kathmandu for operation or any big problem in health, back to camp for lunch, rest of time spend in camp.
Day 04: Trek to Jyamrung (950m.) 6-7 hours. All the way path but not steep down you can walk between local village, small forest, small river, local market and your camp is close to River.
Day 05: After Breakfast visit local village in Jyamrung and back to camp for lunch and swimming in river after lunch and relax rest of the time.
Day 06: Cross small river and to go other side of village it call Sukaura which has other charming of different lifestyle local people and take private Jeep or local buss to Kathmandu.
