Ganesh Himal Trekking itinerary

Day  01: Drive from Kathmandu (1350 m) to Betrawati (800 m) by the Trisuli Bazar and whole town it call Bidur which is District headquarter of Nuwakot District over night in camp.

 

Day 02: Trek to Kispang (1830m.) it takes six hours. Walk between local house, small forest, famer, field and you feel like totally fresh in mountain as well as Nepalese family atmosphere.

 

Day 03: Trek to Thulo Chour (2320m.) it takes six to seven hours. You cam is in wide green ground south of farmer temporary animal house and you can see several Nepalese village from the south side of your cam.

 

Day 04: Trek to Gonga (2950m.) it takes five hours. This day your lunch and overnight camp in same place where you can see Langtang (6600m.) & Langtang Lirung (7225m.) the place of camp is in on the hill between forest.

 

Day 05: Trek to Rupchet (3700m.) it takes six hours. This is your second highest place to sleep in tent camp is nice camping gorund and you can see long distance because tree are smaller than previous day.

 

Day 06: Trek to Pansang Bhanjyang (4000m) it takes six to seven hours. This is highest point to sleep in whole Ganesh Himal trekking, in the morning after you climb up to the single pass (4200m.) but view point place where you can see 180 degree (4400m. singla top) mountain view including Ganesh Himal (I,II,III,IV) mountain.

 

Day 07: Trek to Tipling (2500m) it takes six hours. Fifteen hundred meters down and your cam is in Gurung and Tamang village. We have lots of community in Nepal and one of them is Gurung and Tamang.

 

Day 08: Trek to Sertung(2050m) it takes five to six hours. Today your tent camp is same like in Tipling.  Normally Gurung, Tamang, Magar, Ghale communities are live in hilly area of Nepal, so Tipling, Sertung, Darkha, Sapchet are one of the area to find them.

 

Day 09: Trek to Sapchet (1500m) it takes six hours. Slowly after Sapchet to go to Darkha there are some other cast of the people (different communities) adjust friendly in village and they never fight each other.

 

Day 10: Trek to Darkha (1250m). it takes five to six hours. This place landscape is north to south and your camp is in the middle but some time camp is occupied and you might be further up or down in same village.

 

Day 11: Trek to Fulkharka (1720m) it takes six to seven hours. This day walk down to the river side and across the river move other side place it call Gumde village and some young boy after the school they prepare job to British Army (Gorkha Army). From top of the Gumde Village you can see Fulkharka Village and the Village very famous from several communities in friendly environmental where founder of Acute Trek Pvt. Ltd. from and mostly are Hindus.

 

Day 12: Trek to Jyamrung (950m.) it takes six to seven hours. This day your camp is closed to river or stay in local house is up to you. this village is also mostly are Hindus but there still some other communities. Specially in Hindus festival period (Dashain & Tihar) in Fulkharka and Jyamrung Village interested to see and visit because Dashain and Tihar is like Christmas for example.

 

Day 13: Swimming and cleaning in river it call Aakhu Khola or Indrawati (small river we call Khola in our Nepalese language) & hiking around the Village and see around the local culture in there and this is your last night of the trekking in countryside of Nepal and hope next time we do together.

 

Day 14: Just cross the small river and reach in Sukaura Village where you start drive back to Kathmandu it takes six to seven hours drive via Tari Besi, Gola Bhanjyang, Dhading Besi (This is district headquarter of Dhading district), Malekhu, Kathmandu.
