The peak was named Island Peak in 1951 by Eric Shipton's party since it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche. The peak was later renamed in 1983 to Imja Tse but Island Peak remains the popular choice. Day 01:- Kathmandu to Lukla (2850m.) 30 minute fly and same day trek to Phakding (2610m.) 4 hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 02:- Trek to Namche (3440m.) it takes six hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 03:- Acclimatization in Namche and sightseeing in local village and overnight Hotel.
Day 04:- Trek to Tengboche (3867m.) it takes five hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 05:- Trek to Dingboche (4410m.) it takes five an half to six hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 06:- Acclimatization day in Dingboche, look around there and overnight Hotel.
Day 07:- Trek to Lobuche (4910m.) it takes six hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 08:- Trek to Gorek Shep (5185m.) three to three an half hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 09:- Kalapattar back to Hotel, trip to Dingboche (4410m.) 6-7 hrs walk, overnight Hotel.
Day 10:- Trek to Chhukung (4750m.) it takes two hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 11:- Trek to Island Base Camp (5150m.) it takes 4-5 walk and overnight tent camp.
Day 12:- Summit to Island Peak (6200m.) back to Chhukung in late afternoon, overnight Hotel.
Day 13:- Trek to Tengboche (3867m.) it takes five hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 14:- Trek to Namche (3440m.) it takes five hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 15:- Trek to Phakding (2610m.) four to five hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 16:- Trek to Lukla (2850m.) three hours walk and overnight Hotel.
Day 17:- Morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla thirty minute and overnight Hotel.
