Tilicho Lake Thorong La Pass Trek is a popular and challenging trekking route located in the Annapurna trekking region of Nepal. It combines two iconic destinations Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass, making it a remarkable journey for adventurous trekkers.

Tilicho Lake:- Tilicho Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of about 4,919 meters (16,138 feet) above sea level. The lake is surrounded by stunning snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna II, III, and Gangapurna. Its pristine blue waters add to the allure of this remote and scenic location.

Thorong La Pass:- Thorong La is a mountain pass located at an elevation of 5,416 meters (17,769 feet). Crossing this pass is the most challenging part of the trek, and it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. It is the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit trek and a significant milestone for trekkers.

The Tilicho lake thorong la pass Trek typically takes 14-15 days to complete, depending on the starting and ending points, as well as the trekking pace. The trek usually starts from either Besisahar or Syange and follows the Annapurna Circuit trail for a few days before branching off towards Tilicho Lake. After visiting the lake, trekkers rejoin the main trail and cross the Thorong la pass, eventually reaching the town of Jomsom or Muktinath. From there, you can either continue your journey towards the Annapurna Base Camp or head back to Pokhara through a combination of trekking and driving.

The trek offers a diverse landscape, passing through lush valleys, dense forests, rocky terrains, and traditional mountain villages. Trekkers will have the opportunity to experience the unique culture and hospitality of the local communities, including the Gurung and Thakali people. Day 01:- Kathmandu to Chamje (1420m.) by drive via Besishahar (760m.) and overnight hotel.

Day 02:- Chamje to Dharapani (1860m.) 5-6 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 03:- Dharapani to Chame (2670m.) 6 hours walking and overnight hotel.

Day 04:- Chame to Lower Pisang (3200m.) 6 hours walking and overnight hotel.

Day 05:- Lower Pisang to Manang (3540m.) 5 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 06:- Acclimatization day in Manang and look around village and view and overnight hotel.

Day 07:- Manang to Shree Kharka (4000m.) 4 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 08:- Shree Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4200m.) 4 hours and overnight hotel.

Day 09:- Hike up to Tilicho lake (4919m.) where you spend few hour back down and overnight hotel.

Day 10:- Tilicho Base Camp to Yak Kharka (4000m.) 5-6 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 11:- Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4450m.) 3:30 hours / High Camp (4925m.) 4:30 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 12:- Thorong High Camp to Muktinath (3800m.) via Thorong La pass (5416m.) 8-10 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 13:- Muktinath to Pokhara (822m.) by drive and overnight hotel. This day after Muktinath drive down Jomsom if you interested flight to Pokhara stop there for next day or drive continue to Pokhara.

Day 14:- Pokhara to Kathmandu (1400m.) drive at least 8 hours if not traffic otherwise more and flight only 25 minute and overnight hotel.
