Namo Buddha Hiking in Nepal

You can drive up to Dhullikhel or Panauti from Kathmandu then hiking up to Namo Buddha. It is situated on hill above Panauti, terraced farmlands, superb mountain view, hiking to beautiful Buddhist Stupa of Namo Buddha & the serene temples in Panauti are the main height lights of this hiking. Scrutinize the pitiable situation of tigress, the prince has nothing to offer immediately. You cross over a suspension bridge & pass through many small villages with huge rice fields, which gives you a chance to see how Nepalese People plant & harvest their crops. The trail goes steeply uphill for about an hour until reaching Namo Buddha.

There is amazing legend related to the Buddha, which is commemorated, by an ancient stone slab & a stupa with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is good place for meditation as well. Namo Buddha Hiking Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuwan international airport in Nepal and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and overnight hotel.

Day 3: Drive up to Dhulikhel and start a hiking up to Namo Buddha (1982m.), overnight hotel.

Day 4: Hiking Namo Buddha to Panauti and overnight hotel.

Day 5: Morning hike to Panauti areas and same day drive to Kathmandu and overnight hotel.

Day 6: Final departure to own country for the flight to home.
