
Namo Buddha is located height of 1750m. Its very imperative Buddhist Pilgrimage which lies about thirty eight KM east of Kathmandu. The Stupa and shrines built in this lovely little hill mark very very old holy sites which indicate the place where a famous prince named Mahasattva offered himself to a greedy Tigress with its some malnourished cub. After making some diversion in & around the area here, you will drive to Kathmandu through Dhulikhel which takes 1:30 hours. Namobudhha hiking is one of the best hiking in terms of mountain view and religious way. After breakfast take a drive up to Dhullikhel and start a hiking up to Namo Buddha. Main stupa devoted to Namo Buddha depict this story of self-less action of the prince. Namo Buddha has always drawn deferential pilgrims. You can drive up to Dhullikhel or Panauti from Kathmandu then hiking up to Namo Buddha. It is situated on hill above Panauti, terraced farmlands, superb mountain view, hiking to beautiful Buddhist Stupa of Namo Buddha & the serene temples in Panauti are the main height lights of this hiking. Scrutinize the pitiable situation of tigress, the prince has nothing to offer immediately. You cross over a suspension bridge & pass through many small villages with huge rice fields, which gives you a chance to see how Nepalese People plant & harvest their crops. The trail goes steeply uphill for about an hour until reaching Namo Buddha.
Day 1: Arrival at Tribhuwan international airport in Nepal and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley and overnight hotel.
Day 3: Drive up to Dhulikhel and start a hiking up to Namo Buddha (1982m.), overnight hotel.
Day 4: Hiking Namo Buddha to Panauti and overnight hotel.
Day 5: Morning hike to Panauti areas and same day drive to Kathmandu and overnight hotel.
Day 6: Final departure to own country for the flight to home.
